Frequently asked questions
How do I restore a previous purchase?
Open the App, go to the in-app store / paywall, and tap Restore Purchases. Make sure you are signed in to the same Apple ID that originally bought the item. Restore re-checks your Apple receipt and unlocks any non-consumable purchases or active subscriptions.
How do I cancel a subscription?
Subscriptions are managed by Apple, not by us:
- Open Settings on your device.
- Tap your name at the top, then Subscriptions.
- Choose Pixel Art Maker - 8 Bit Pixels and tap Cancel Subscription.
You will keep access until the end of the current billing period. Deleting the App does not cancel a subscription.
How do I get a refund?
Refunds for App Store purchases are issued by Apple. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple ID, and select the purchase you want to report. We are happy to support a refund request, but only Apple can issue the refund.
The App is asking for permission to my Camera / Photos / Microphone — why?
iOS requires us to ask the first time a feature needs that hardware. We only ask for the permissions the App actually uses, and only when the relevant feature is opened. You can review or change permissions any time in Settings → Pixel Art Maker - 8 Bit Pixels. Denying a permission only disables the specific feature that needs it; the rest of the App keeps working.
How do I delete my data?
The App stores data on your device. You can clear it by:
- Using any in-app option to delete a specific item or reset the app, if available, or
- Long-pressing the App icon on your Home Screen and choosing Remove App → Delete App. iOS will remove the App and its local data.
If you have specific privacy questions, see the Privacy Policy or email us at sandeep.bhandari@yahoo.co.in.
The App crashes or freezes — what should I try first?
- Force-quit and reopen. Swipe up from the bottom of the screen (or double-press Home) and swipe the App away, then reopen it.
- Restart the device. A simple restart clears most transient issues.
- Check for updates. Open the App Store, tap your profile, and update Pixel Art Maker - 8 Bit Pixels if a new version is available. Also update iOS in Settings → General → Software Update.
- Free up storage. Very low device storage causes apps to crash unexpectedly.
- Reinstall. Delete and reinstall the App from the App Store. Note: this also clears local data.
- Still failing? Email us at sandeep.bhandari@yahoo.co.in with the details listed above.
Why am I seeing ads, and can I remove them?
If the App displays ads, ads keep the free version free. Many of our apps offer an in-app purchase or subscription that removes ads — open the App and check the in-app store or settings. Ads we serve are non-personalized by default; we do not track you across other apps for advertising.
I’m in the EU/UK and I want to change my ads consent
If a consent prompt appeared on first launch, you can revisit your choice from the App’s settings (look for Privacy or Ads consent). Reinstalling the App also resets the consent prompt.
