The Core Summary: dB Pulse respects your privacy. We do not record, store, or transmit your audio. All audio processing happens locally on your device in real-time to calculate decibel levels.
To function as a decibel meter, dB Pulse requires access to your device's microphone. This access is used strictly for real-time acoustic analysis (calculating RMS decibel levels and Fast Fourier Transform data).
dB Pulse operates without requiring a user account. We do not collect Personally Identifiable Information (PII) such as your name, email address, or phone number.
If you choose to share diagnostics with us manually via the "Diagnostics & Logs" feature, you may send us text logs of the app's internal state. This is entirely opt-in and handled via your device's standard email or sharing sheet. We do not automatically upload background crash logs, except for the opt-in telemetry you provide Apple directly.
The free version of dB Pulse uses Google AdMob to display banner advertisements. AdMob may collect and use information (such as your device's advertising identifier, IP address, and interaction data) to provide personalized or non-personalized ads, in accordance with your App Tracking Transparency (ATT) preferences.
You can review Google's Privacy Policy here: https://policies.google.com/privacy.
Payments for "dB Pulse Pro" are securely processed entirely through Apple's App Store via StoreKit. We do not process or store your payment details directly.
We may update our Privacy Policy periodically. Any changes will be posted on this page and the effective date will be updated accordingly.
