Why does the app ask for Microphone permission?

dB Pulse needs microphone access to analyze sound in real-time and calculate decibel levels. The app does not record or store your audio.

My readings seem too high/low. Is it calibrated?

Microphone sensitivity varies by device and environment. For best results, compare against a known reference source or a calibrated sound level meter. If your app includes calibration, apply a small offset in a consistent environment.

The app shows silence or the meter doesn't move

• Confirm Microphone access: Settings → Privacy & Security → Microphone
• Make sure no other app is actively using the microphone.
• Restart the app (or restart your device) and try again.

Ads / Pro / Purchases

If you purchased dB Pulse Pro and it doesn't unlock, try Restore Purchases from within the app (or from the App Store purchase restoration flow), and ensure you're signed in with the same Apple ID used to purchase.
